Brad Farmer was born and raised in Casper, WY, where the Medicine Bow National Forest meets the Great Plains. At an early age his father taught him that “Farmers are out- standing in their field,” and Brad strives to be no exception. When he was young, Brad dreamed of being an astronaut. Now he tries to conquer gravity in a different manner. Brad met Gene in seventh grade CCD class – who would have ever guessed then that the seeds were being sown that would eventually lead to the formation of APeX?
Brad & Joia Farmer were united in the holy Sacrament widely known as “Marriage” in 1999. Together, they fight the forces of evil, diapers & toilet cleanings, all while taking care of their 5 beautiful children, Jack, Ava, Caedmon, Simon, and Finn. Brad & Joia are currently the Co-Directors of Youth Ministry at Our Lady of Loretto. Brad is the Co-founder of APeX Ministries – an itinerant ministry that brings death-defying juggling, side-splitting comedy and heart-changing Jesus to the young people of the U.S. and Canada. Joia, a speaker, musician & health/wellness coach, wrote the 2009 National Catholic Youth Conference theme song “Christ Reigns,” and was a featured speaker at the 2012 Rally for Life in Washington, D.C.
