Workshop Descriptions: If there are themes and workshops not listed that you would like APeX to present on, please let us know. Given enough advance notice we are more than willing to create new material to fit the needs of your event. Important: Talk to Gene or Brad well before the event about which topics you would like them to present on. Not all topic work in all settings. Visit the Themes and Workshop page.

Clip Art (Coming Soon!): Clip Art can really add to a flyer or announcement, but not all juggling clip art is appropriate for an APeX event. Some pictures misrepresent what kind of show should be expected. We are not clowns or mimes. Suggested clip art is currently being compiled. Please contact us for suggestions.

Pictures: Below is a list of pictures that are on this disk which can be used for promotional material. Each photo is formatted for a specific medium in order to ensure the best quality.

Biographical Information for Programs

Our Prefered Bio...

APeX Ministries (aka Gene and Brad) is a nationally know comedy duo based out of Baltimore, MD and near Denver, CO. They travel North America using a style they define as Christian Vaudeville. This includes death defying juggling, sketch comedy, and personal testimony. In other words, they are evangelists, they throw things at each other, and they are funny. Gene hopes one day to compete in the Olympics as a solo synchronized swimmer. Brad is very strong!

A more conservative alternative (if you absolutely must)...

APeX Ministries (Gene and Brad) APeX Ministries is a nationally know comedy duo based out of Baltimore, MD and near Denver, CO. APeX uses a style they define as Christian Vaudeville. This includes (but is not limited to) death defying juggling, humor, characterizations (skits), story-telling, audience participation, and personal testimony. Over the last six years APeX has worked with youth and adults alike in over 40 states at the national, diocesan, and parish levels. They have shared their ministry with audiences as as small as 3 and large as 30,000 including the Papal Visit to St. Louis in January 1999. Both Gene and Brad were born in Casper, Wyoming where they grew up in the same parish. Brad grew up entertaining his own family. (In other words, Ma & Pa Farmer had him and his brothers and sisters entertain every time company or relatives came over.) He now loves to share his antics with the world. He performed for many diverse audiences previous to the formation of APeX, and even has experience in working in youth ministry in different parts of the country. He absolutely loves the Lord and wants to share the joy he's found with as many people as he can. Gene graduated from the Catholic University of America in 1996 (which means he never has to do homework ever again). His earliest memories are of playing with Tonka Trucks and drinking cologne. (We think it explains a lot). . Gene was a nerd (and some would contest he still is) and loved being on the Math team. Gene likes to write letters, drink tea, have stories read to him, and roll down big grassy hills. When he grows up (if it ever happens, our bet is it won't) he would like to be a teacher.

APeX's needs at the event: Not all of these items are needed at all events APeX performs at. Please check with Gene or Brad for the specific needs at your event. Also, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to call.

    • One CD player and one cassette tape player for music tracks.
    • A sound engineer to set up, direct sound check, and call the show.
