The Professional: Gene graduated from the Catholic University of America in 1996 (which means he never has to do homework ever again) with a degree in Computer Science and a sub-concentration in Religion and Religious Education (the connection between the two was never quite grasped by Gene's academic advisor, but then again Gene can't explain it either). Gene graduated at the top of his college class in the Computer Science Department at The Catholic University of America in 1996. (This is not as impressive as it really sounds. When Gene joined the program as a freshman there were 11 people in his class. When he graduated he was the only one left. We think it might have had something to do with his bathing habits in college. So besides graduating at the top of his class he also graduated at the bottom.) From the Fall of 1994 through the Spring of 1996 Gene was the director of the Fools for Jesus Homeless Ministry which catered to the physical and spiritual needs of the homeless of Washington, DC. After graduation from college Gene moonlighted at Andersen Consulting (if you can call working 60 to 120 hours a week moonlighting) while starting APeX Youth Ministries with Brad. Over the past five years Gene has juggled and entertained in public and Catholic schools, colleges, for children in West Africa, and on the streets of Washington, DC as well as on the main stage of the AIDS benefit "A Remedy of Sorts" held on the steps of the US Capitol.
