March 15th, 2002 Number 18
Greetings from the world headquarters of APeX Ministries. Welcome to the new and improved APeXMinistries.com. We hope you like the new look. Take some time to wonder around. The upgrade isn’t finished yet, but it is close (we still have a number of new pictures we are going to add). Please let us know if you find any errors as you look around.

The New look of DAA You will notice that DAA also has a new look. In an attempt to make DAA more user friendly we have moved from having one long page to a number of links which you will find below. Let us know what you think of the new format.

The APeX Family We are pleased to announce that the APeX family has grown. On February 2, 2002 at 10:23 PM MST Joia and Brad Farmer gave birth (ok Joia really gave birth, but Brad had some small part in the whole thing) to Jakob Bradley Farmer. 7 lbs. 10 oz. and, God help us all, hair like his father's. Joia is excited because both baby and herself are healthy. Brad is excited that he now has the first member of the army he is building. Gene is excited because he can't wait to start corrupting the child. Check out pictures of the family in the photo gallery and read about the big day in this newsletter!. (See below)

Up coming shows Make sure you check out the web page for the latest schedule. We have updated it for where we are going to be for the rest of the year. There are still a few holes in it, so if you looking to add an event at your church, school, or rally give the international headquarters a call at 888/522-APeX and one of our lovely assistants will be more than willing to help you out.

New shirts If you have not checked out the new APeX T-shirts, make sure you do. Remember there are only 274 shopping days until Christmas. Make sure you beat the rush. (Note: If we do not have the size you want, we can always custom order it at no extra charge.)

Thanks! We have lots of thanks you for this month.

  • Gene would like to thank Mel and Lindsey for the awesome mix CD. They will come in very handy as heads back out on the road full time for the next 4 months.
  • Gene and Brad would like to thank everyone who stopped by for the DisiplesNow.com chat zone. We had a great time.
  • Brad & Joia would like to thank Dede Chism for her awesome support during Joia's pregnancy and Jack's birth. What a blessing to have a friend like you, Dede!
  • Brad & Joia would also like to thank their parents, their families, Sue Saindon, the staff at the Office of Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese of Denver, and all their other friends who offered their support during this time.
