Greetings from the world headquarters of APeX Ministries. We hope that you got all the mini Snickers that you heart desired (and that your stomach could handle).

Win Free Stuff A new feature added to DAA this month is "Win Free Stuff" This is how it works. Each month you will be given the opportunity to ask a question or do a task and you will (drum roll please…) win free stuff. There will be one grand prize each month (a rare treasure you will find nowhere else) and countless runner up prizes. Besides wining a fabulous prize you will also get your name in the next DAA.

More Free Stuff APeX's web page needs pictures and Art work. If we use your art work or picture, you will get a free APeX t-shirt. Please send all submissions to APeX Artwork, P.O. Box 50395, Washington, DC, 20091. Please note that all work submitted become the property of APeX Ministries, Inc.

Open Dates There are lots of open dates for 2002. If you would like to have APeX at your youth event or church (Yes, APeX does events for churches… even for all ages) please contact the APeX office at 888/522-APeX. The friendly people there will help you out.

APeX Index is Back! One of the most popular sections of the paper form of APeX Attacks, has now found its way to DAA. Check it out below.

Travel with APeX APeX is looking to hire a driver/sound person for the spring. They must be at least 20 years old, have a clean driving record, be able to be out on the road Feb through May, and must get along with Gene. No sound tech. skills needed. We will train. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Gene at gene@apexministries.com.

Your brothers in Christ
Gene and Brad

PS: Don't forget to forward this on to your friends who would appreciate it.

Gene's Recommendation

Book:
Dangerous Wonder By Mike Yaconelli If you have ever wondered what they is meant by "You must come to God as children" This is the book for you. Be careful, it will change your life.
CD: Achtung Baby By U2 This album came out in 1991 and is still my favorite. It is filled with lots of "Christian Music" with out ever calling it that.
Movie: Two movies about healing and sacrifice you must see are The Spitfire Grill and Iron Giant. (Iron Giant is the last movie to make Gene cry...)
Web Page: Are you tired of getting all of those mass e-mails from your friends? Are you looking for a way to get them to stop? There is no better way than with knowledge. Most of those e-mails are hoaxes. "The malls are going to be attacked on Oct 31" (Not true!) "Microsoft is tracking your e-mail and will give you money" (Technically impossible!) "Touched by an Angel is going to be pulled from the air because they use the word God." (Lie!) To find out if these e-mails are true or not simply visit http://urbanlegends.com/

Brad's Recommendations
Book: Prayer: The Great Conversation By Peter Kreeft A very easy to follow book on prayer, and at the same time one of the deepest and most comprehensive written in recent times. If you liked The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson, which has recently made many people re-examine how they pray, maybe you should check out the rest of the story and go a little deeper with Peter Kreeft.
